The homless drunk in this play at the beginning of the play, may not be one of the main, roles, but without him, there wouldnt be the "play within a play". Jeris Lee Poindexter is would make a very funny Christopher sly. He has enough experiance playing homless people, as seen in...

Bianca
*Cue Madonna's "Like a Virgin"* In the play, Bianca is the girl every man wants; Beautful, innocent, and comes with a big dowry. Amanda Seyfried can pull of the role of Bianca. Amand's other notable roles include
- Karen Smith; Mean Girls
- Sophie; Mamma Mia!
- Savannah Curtis; Dear John
- Cosette; Les Miserables
In these roles, she portrays come characteristics that are Bianca; Inocent (Cosette) , to be wanted (Karen and Savannah) and naive (Karen). With Amanda's breath taking looks and "virgen-esque" vibe, Amanda is the perfect contender in becoming Bianca.

Lucentio
Poor poor hopeless romantic Lucentio. Falls in love at first sight for Bianca, only to be rejected. Ouch! This was a tough one to cast, but after looking at our selection, it had to come down to Eddie Redmayne. He is most notable for his roles as ...
- Colin Clark - "My Week with Marilyn"
- Marius Pontmercy - "Les Miserables"
In "My Week with Marilyn" , Eddie's character falls in love with the one and only Marilyn Monroe, the girl that everybody wants, but will never have. Sounds familiar? Oddly enough his next major role also has him fall in love at first sight with a beautiful and innocent "Cosette". Seems like Mr. Eddie has enough "love" credentials to play Lucentio.

Petruchio
A man that as greedy and selfish as sir Petruchio, Sir Bradley Cooper would be stupendous in becoming this chauvinist character. Bradly Cooper has been seen in the films...
- Phil Wenneck; The Hangover
- Pat Solitano; Silver Linings Playbook
In "Silver Linings Playbook" , Bradley plays a bipolar man seeking to reunite his marriage with his ex wife. On the way he befriends a fellow bipolar named Tiffany (Jennifer Lawrence). Being selfish and not taking to consideration of Tiffany's feelings, he does as he wants. Also Bradley portrayed a character as bawdy, big, and hilarious as Phil in "The Hangover" , becoming Petruchio would be a piece of cake. With Bradley's good looks and charms he is sure to take this character to the next level!

Katherine
For the part of the shrew Katherine, I have carefully chosen Emma Stone for this role. She has previously played...
- Olive Penderghast From "Easy A"
- Eugenia "Skeeter" Phelan from " The Help"
Both previous characters have characteristics that embody Katherina. The character Olive is presented as being promiscuous, when in fact she is not. Also the Character Skeeter from the critically acclaimed movie "The Help" is seen as weird women for not following what women were typically doing in that time period. She was an educated, outspoken women.
Emma Stone not only has the fiery red hair to represent Katherina, but the spirit as well.
